Marketing Specialist

LG Networks, Inc. is a fast-growing, Dallas-based IT company. We provide IT support services to small and medium sized businesses throughout the DFW metroplex and beyond.

We are looking for a marketing and promotions specialist who is going to spearhead the creation and execution of marketing campaigns and objectives. The company’s website is receiving increased views thanks to search ads and SEO. The ideal candidate will know how to turn these page views into paying customers. This position requires a person who is knowledgeable in marketing across a wide breath of media: web, email, flyers, search ads, and social media.

Note:  This is an in-office position. We are considering applications only from those who can reliably commute to our office: 9441 Lyndon B Johnson Fwy in Dallas, TX. We are not accepting remote applications for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Be the primary person responsible for creating marketing objectives and strategies. We are not looking for just an ideas person. The ideal candidate is expected to lead the execution of these ideas with the help of existing sales and marketing staff.
  • Develop strategies to optimize existing website content and structure in order to maximize conversion.
  • Serve as the lead copywriter for website, email, and other marketing content.
  • Create marketing and promotional campaigns across different media (website, email, search ads, social media, one sheets, brochures, flyers, etc.).
  • Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns.

Required

  • 2 – 3+ years’ work experience as a marketing professional
  • Portfolio of previous projects and marketing materials.
  • Solid writing, proofreading, editing, and communication skills. This job will entail writing copy for website, email, social media, and other promotional content. Candidate must be able to provide a writing sample.
  • Experience managing Google Ads, SEO, and email campaigns.
  • Sensible design aesthetics for both web and print. Ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Knowledgeable in Google Search Console and Analytics and incorporating collected information into a marketing strategy.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp or Constant Contact

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or similar field of study.
  • Previous experience working with an IT company.
